Tens of thousands of people are feared dead in Haiti's catastrophic earthquake, buried beneath demolished schools, hospitals and homes as traumatized citizens mill in streets strewn with rubble and scattered bodies. As more than 30 aftershocks continued to shake the devastated capital Port-au-Prince, residents tried to rescue people trapped under rubble, clawing at chunks of concrete with bare hands. Haiti is the poorest country in our hemisphere. Those who had little now have nothing.

Scattering Resources is working in on-the-ground relief efforts in Haiti. Members of Scattering Resources help comprise a team that delivering supplies and assessing the situation in local communities inside Port-au-Prince and Jacmel.
